Frequently Asked Questions

Ordering & shipping

How long until my order ships?

All Rebel Flock Co items are made-to-order (print-on-demand), so each order has two phases: production and shipping.

  • Apparel and totes: 2–4 business days production
  • Hats and accessories: 4–6 business days production
  • Standard US shipping after that: 3–5 business days

So total door-to-door is usually 5–10 business days. We email you a tracking number the moment your order leaves the print facility.

Do you ship internationally?

Not yet — we're US-only at launch. Sign up for the newsletter and we'll let you know when international shipping becomes available. (If you have a specific country you'd want us to ship to first, send us a note at info@rebelflockco.com — we read every email.)

Is shipping free?

Free US shipping on orders over $75. Orders under $75 ship at standard USPS or UPS Ground rates, which Shopify calculates at checkout based on your address and the weight of the order.

My tracking shows delivered, but I don't have my package. Help?

Contact us at info@rebelflockco.com within 7 days. We'll work with the carrier and either reship or refund. Standard policy: missing packages reported within 7 days get replaced; outside that window, we'll do our best but can't always.

Returns & exchanges

What's your return policy?

Because everything is made-to-order, we generally can't accept returns on apparel that fits and was printed correctly. Exceptions:

  • Misprints, defects, or wrong items — report within 14 days of delivery, with a photo, and we'll replace at no cost. No questions, no return shipping required.
  • Damaged in transit — same: photo within 7 days, we replace.
  • Wrong size and you want to exchange — we can't do swaps because each garment is individually printed, but we'll offer a small discount on a re-order at the right size. Email us.

The full formal policy lives at our Refund and Return Policy.

How does sizing run?

We try to match sizes to the blank manufacturer's sizing rather than custom sizing. Each product page lists the specific blank (e.g., "Oakley FOA402997," "Port Authority L224") so you can look up the manufacturer's size chart if you've worn that brand before.

If you've never worn the brand, size up when in doubt — most of our blanks run slightly athletic.

We're working on adding a unified size guide — for now, message us if you want the size chart for a specific item.

The brand

Are you the "official" Rebel Loon (or Rebel Meadowlark) brand?

Honestly: there's no single "official" version of either symbol. Both emerged organically across multiple states and multiple independent designers. We're one of several brands making this kind of merchandise — and we think the lack of a single corporate "official" is actually what's kept the symbols meaningful.

What we are is a multi-state brand with a fuller catalog (premium blanks, more item types, both Loon and Meadowlark together) than any of the single-state alternatives.

Where does my money go?

Most of it goes to producing your order, paying for shipping, and keeping the lights on. We commit to dedicating a portion of our profit to grass-roots advocacy partners in Minnesota and the Plains states. As we grow, we'll publish the donation breakdown publicly.

Can I customize a design?

For one-off orders: not currently. We don't have the production setup for custom personalization yet.

For bulk / wholesale / org partnership orders (think: 25+ units for a school, advocacy group, indie shop, or co-op): yes. Email info@rebelflockco.com with what you have in mind and we'll work with you.

Wholesale & partnerships

Do you do wholesale?

Yes. We offer wholesale pricing for indie bookstores, advocacy organizations, mutual-aid networks, and other small shops with a relevant audience. Email us with your business name and a rough quantity estimate.

Do you collaborate with creators or organizations?

Yes — selectively. We're particularly interested in:

  • Local content creators in MN, ND, KS, MT, NE, OR, WY with audiences that overlap our buyers
  • Advocacy organizations (Indivisible chapters, conservation NGOs, civic engagement groups)
  • Indie podcasts and Substacks covering politics, the Upper Midwest, or the Plains

If that's you, send a quick note about your audience and what you have in mind.

Print quality

What process do you use?

Most apparel uses DTF (Direct-to-Film) printing — a more vibrant, softer-feeling, longer-lasting process than older heat-transfer or basic screenprint. DTF stays vibrant past 100 washes when cared for normally.

For embroidery items (currently just hats), we use a partner shop with a strong reputation for embroidered headwear.

Will the print fade or peel?

DTF prints generally don't peel. They can fade slightly over many years, but typically last well past the lifespan of the garment itself. Care: turn inside-out, wash cold, tumble dry low, don't iron directly on the print. That's it.
